get the dmg from download, open it, and run Install tapespin.pkg. it puts the plugin in the standard folders:

• VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
• AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
• CLAP: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP

then rescan plug-ins in your DAW, or restart it. the installer is unsigned until our Apple Developer account is through: the first time, right-click it and choose Open.

coming. the windows build isn't out yet; the download page will have it. it will put the plugin in the standard folders:

• VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
• CLAP: C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP

rescan plug-ins in its settings. check that it looks in the folders above and that it is 64-bit. in Logic, open the Plug-in Manager and reset the plugin if it failed validation. still nothing? write to us with your DAW, its version and your operating system.

tapespin, dubplate and dive are insert effects. put them on any audio or instrument track, a group, or the master.

1. copy the key from the email we sent after checkout (or the page you landed on).
2. open the plugin and click Demo in its header.
3. Paste licence key.

that's it. the key is checked on your own computer and works offline. no account, no dongle.

• the whole key. it starts with KEY- and has one dot in it. copy all of it; line breaks and spaces from the email don't matter, missing characters do.
• the right product. a tapespin key doesn't open dubplate. the email says what the key is for.
• an old build. install the latest version from download; very early builds predate keys.
• still no? write to us with the key and the plugin's version (bottom of its settings page).

the whole plugin. everything works. without a key, it starts from default settings when you reopen a project; the settings are still saved with the project and come back once you activate.

get it again: every key for the address you bought with, in one email.

same key. install the plugin and paste it again. use it on the computers you use yourself (a studio machine and a laptop, say); please don't share it. the licence has the details.

14 days, all of it back, no questions. reply to the receipt or the key email with "refund" and your order number, or write to support@snowday.fm. the money goes back the way it came, usually within a week. details in the refund policy.

Stripe, as the merchant of record, through its Link service: your receipt and card statement say "Link". tax is added at checkout where it applies. we never see your card.
