terms of sale
last updated 2026-10-12
draft, not reviewed. a starting point, not legal advice: have it checked for [Country] and the countries you sell to, then set legal.reviewed in site/config.mjs.
These terms apply when you use snowday.fm or buy a plugin from it. The seller of the software is [Legal name of the seller], [Postal address], [Country] ("we").
1. Who you buy from
Orders are processed by Stripe through its Managed Payments service. Stripe (shown as "Link" at checkout and on your statement) is the merchant of record. They handle payment, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and their checkout terms also apply to the payment.
2. What you buy
You buy a licence to use the software, not the software itself. The licence terms are in the end-user licence agreement. You get a download link and a licence key by email after payment.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in US dollars before tax. Tax is added at checkout where it applies. A launch price, when there is one, is shown with its end date.
4. Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
5. Pre-release and coming-soon products
Products marked "coming soon" can't be bought on their own yet. Descriptions of them may change before release.
6. Liability
We make the software with care, but it is provided as described in the EULA. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the law of [Country]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.
